It is with deep regret that we inform you about the death of Jerzy Przybylski who passed away at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the age of 86.

He was born on August 21, 1938, in Kłódka (former Łysakowo estate), Poland, to Stanisława (Śledzikowska) Przybylska and Piotr Przybylski. He has an older sister, Halina Zięba.

In 1969, Jerzy was married to Jadwiga (Kozak) Przybylska, his beloved wife, and they were blessed sharing the next 51 years of marriage together.

Jerzy obtained a Master’s Degree in Geography from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and a Master’s Degree in Land Surveying from the Agricultural University in Krakow, where he was employed as a Teaching Assistant. During Marshall Law in Poland (1981-1983) he was an active member of “Solidarity”, for which he lost his job and academic career. In the mid-80s he obtained a license of Mine Surveyor and established his own Surveying company “Relief”. He was a talented engineer and hard worker, working in his profession until he turned 80.

Jerzy was a kind, humble, cheerful, and social person with a good sense of humor. He always had patience to others and was ready to help.

He will be missed and forever remembered by his son, sister, grandchildren, relatives and community in Poland, and friends in Houston, TX. We lost our dear friend…
