‘Adam Zbigniew Chruscik, age 74, passed away on October 8, 2026, in Houston, Texas, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 22, 1951, in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Poland, Adam carried throughout his life the strength, determination, and resilience shaped by his early years. He attended technical college, where he specialized in electrical wiring schematics and developed the technical knowledge that would become the foundation of his lifelong career.

In 1984, Adam made the brave decision to leave Poland and come to the United States in search of a better life. This courageous step reflected his hope for the future, his willingness to take risks, and his commitment to building a better life for himself and his family. Through hard work, perseverance, and determination, he established a life in his new home and created a lasting legacy for the people he loved.

Adam was a skilled and hardworking man who loved working with his hands. He built his own business repairing electrical components for motors of various sizes, primarily serving the oilfield industry. He took great pride in his craft and earned the respect of those who knew him through his technical expertise, practical abilities, and dependable nature. Adam believed in doing things right and took satisfaction in a job well done. He will be remembered as a capable, resourceful, and humble man who let his work speak for itself.

Above all else, Adam loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose greatest joys came from the people closest to his heart. Whether preparing traditional Polish dishes, spending time fishing, working through crossword puzzles, cheering on his favorite sports teams, or admiring sports cars, Adam found happiness in the simple pleasures that made life special. He carried his Polish heritage with him and cherished the traditions and memories that connected him to his roots.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 37 years, Katrina; his daughters, Agnieszka Mijas and her husband, Sebastian, and Lisa Greek and her husband, Andy; and his beloved grandchildren, Mikołaj and Julia Mijas, and Mila and Jacob Greek. He is also survived by his brother, Wiesław Chruscik, and his wife, Krystyna, as well as his first wife, Halina Chruscik. Adam was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Józef and Alodia Chruscik.

Adam’s family was the center of his world, and his love for them was steady, sincere, and enduring. His life reflected the sacrifices he made, the responsibilities he embraced, and the unwavering dedication he showed to those who depended on him. He faced life’s challenges with quiet strength and determination, always striving to provide, build, and care for the people who mattered most.

Adam will be remembered for his loving heart, resourceful hands, strong work ethic, and steadfast spirit. His journey from Poland to the United States was one of courage and perseverance, and the life he built stands as a testament to his determination and devotion. The lessons he leaves behind—of hard work, resilience, family, and making the most of every opportunity—will continue to live on through the generations that follow him.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable sadness in the hearts of those who loved him, Adam’s memory will remain a lasting source of love, strength, and gratitude. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

May he rest in eternal peace, and may God bring comfort, strength, and peace to all who mourn his passing.’
