Dear Members of the Polish Community in Houston,

In these very difficult times, as our dear missionary, Fr. Jan Koczy, SVD, faces a serious illness, we wish to come together in prayer.

We cordially invite all friends, acquaintances, and people of good will to a Holy Mass of thanksgiving and supplication for Fr. Jan, which will be held at Our Lady of Częstochowa Parish in Houston on October 24th at 6:00 PM.

For 16 years, Fr. Jan served the poorest in Ecuador, and for many years, he has been exceptionally close to our parish and the Polish community in Houston. Please find the full invitation below, which includes the story of his moving missionary journey and the unique bonds he shares with our community.

Let us join together in prayer for Fr. Jan.

Warm regards,
Thalia Krüger
