Honoring Internationally-Renowned Polish Poet Adam Zagajewski

Inprint and DACAMERA are joining forces to celebrate the life and work of internationally renowned Polish poet Adam Zagajewski (1945-2021)

The program will include readings from Zagajewski’s posthumous poetry collection True Life, interwoven with the music of Bach, Chopin, Shostakovich, Schubert, and Mahler that inspired Zagajewski’s writing (a recording will also be available). Tickets are now on sale at inprint.org.


Adam Zagajewski was one of Poland’s most famous contemporary poets and was a prominent member of the Polish New Wave. He published eight poetry collections in English and taught at the University of Houston Creative Writing Program for 18 years. He leaves behind a vibrant legacy of friends, students, and colleagues across the globe, many of whom have recorded their favorite memories of Adam.
