Please help WOSP Texas 2023 Organizers cover the cost of this Houston event!
‘As some of you know, for the last couple of years I have been involved in fundraising efforts on behalf of WOSP – Wielka Orkiestra Swiatecznej Pomocy – The Great Orchestra Of Christmas Charity – a long standing Polish non profit dedicated to raising funds for pediatric and neonatal specialty medical care. As anyone from Poland will tell you, over the years their tireless efforts have proven life-saving and health-restoring for tens of thousands of Polish children. In the last decade Polish communities around the world have joined in this ongoing fundraiser, and produce local events as a part of yearly Grand Finale.
Texas is one of such communities, and this year the whole state has joined forces, together working towards organizing fundraising events in Austin, Dallas, and Houston.
Multiple volunteers are investing their time, creative powers, and skills to make this year’s Grand Finale as successful as we possibly can.
And while everyone donates their time and work, there are still costs involved in producing these events – city permits, venue rentals, event insurance, advertising costs – to name just a few.
This year has been financially tough on everyone, our usual sponsors included – as a result, Texas WOSP is critically low on organizational funds.
Thus, I am asking for everyone’s help – if you can and are willing to donate – please do so – even a small amount will make a significant difference! If you would like to help by spreading the word – please share the link below on your social media.
And, of course – please join us for one of our events on January 28, 2023 – there will be family fests in Austin and Dallas, and a 5K walk/run in Houston!
