On March 29, 2026, a meeting between the President of the Republic of Poland and the local Polish community took place in Dallas, Texas, during which Karol Nawrocki presented state decorations.
During the meeting with the Polish community at the Hall of State, the following individuals were decorated by virtue of decrees issued by the President of the Institute of National Remembrance, Karol Nawrocki:
for outstanding achievements in scientific work, for the popularization of Polish culture and national traditions and activities of Polonia with the GOLD CROSS OF THE ORDER OF MERIT OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND: Jimmy Mazurkiewicz
for outstanding merit in activity for Polonia in the USA, for popularizing Polish culture and national traditions: SILVER CROSS OF THE CAVALRY OF THE ORDER OF MERIT OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND: Waldemar Biniecki, Christopher Gajda, Jolanta Mazewski–Dryden, ks. Jacek Wesołowski
for his outstanding merit for developing international cooperation in technology and creativity: Fernando Schmidt
for merit in activity for polonian environments in the United States of America, for popularizing Polish culture and national traditions:
