Mark your calendar for the Houston second annual Texas Runs For WOSP event!

WHEN: Saturday, January 28, 2023, 8 AM

Texas Runs For WOSP is a 5K race held at Memorial Park of Sugar Land (15300 University Blvd, Sugar Land, TX). It is a part of an annual fundraiser for The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

All proceeds generated by the race benefit The Great Orchestra Of Christmas Charity (Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy), a Polish non-profit raising funds to support pediatric clinics and hospitals in Poland, and funding specialty medical equipment (www.wosp.org.pl).

‘Our race is open to both competitive and recreational runners. We provide professional timing and awards, and we hope to become a permanent addition to Houston’s running calendar. We also welcome families and walkers in an effort to make this a family, and community-oriented event promoting fitness and wellness. Last year, our first edition of the race attracted 75 runners, and numerous spectators, and was recognized in an article in the Fort Bend Star (FortBendStar.com). For our 2^nd annual race in January 2023 we expect an estimated field of 200 – 400 runners. ‘
