As we witness anew the atrocities and brutality of war in Ukraine and the courageous response of Ukrainians and the generous assistance of men and women in Poland to care for refugees, we wish to recall some timely lessons from the heritage of Polish history. In this talk, Father Witold will present the stories of Polish men, women, and children who gave heroic testimony through faith to defend and care for those who were under attack and persecution by the German invaders during World War II. He will discuss Jan Macha, Franciszek Blachnicki, Wladyslaw Bukowinski, the Ulm Family, and the Martyrs of Nowogródek. Please join us for this informative and inspiring lecture!
