The Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Houston, in cooperation with the Holocaust Museum Houston, invites you to a presentation on the ZOOM platform of Jack Fairweather, author of the book “The Volunteer: The True Story Of The Resistance Hero Who Infiltrated Auschwitz”

on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 6:30 PM (CT).

The book, which was published by Harper Collins (USA) and Penguin Random House (UK) in 2019, tells the story of Witold Pilecki, including his imprisonment and conspiracy in the German Auschwitz camp.

The incredible true story of a Polish resistance fighter’s infiltration of Auschwitz to sabotage the camp from within, and his death-defying attempt to warn the Allies about the German Nazis’ plans for a “Final Solution” before it was too late.
