Houston Museum of Fine Arts will show Polish film “The Lure” -“Córki dancingu”, 2015, directed by Agnieszka Smoczynska. Described as a “visceral twist” on Hans Christian Andersen’s original Little Mermaid tale, this film isn’t appropriate for younger audiences, but it is a daring and creative telling in cinematic, dramatic, and musical terms.
