Dominika Dancewicz and Axiom Quartet Play “Music for Strange Places”

Dominika and Axiom Quartet invite to  their  new exciting program “Music for Strange Places” on Sunday, May 31 at 5pm at the University of St.Thomas Cullen Hall.

The program presents great variety of styles and emotions, assembled in a form of “musical tapas” – samples of the works of several composers, spanning many centuries. Hear selections from string quartets by Ravel, Grieg and Beethoven, get excited at the sounds of America in Bernstein’s suite from “West Side Story” and Copland’s “Rodeo”, indulge your senses in the 17th century music for viola da gamba (yes, performed by a string quartet!). There will be more…:)

As always, enjoy Axiom musicians speak from the stage about the music you hear – a great opportunity for your friends and kids to learn about the circumstances behind the creation.

We hope to see you all there! Strange_places
