I am doing a tour to Poland/Czech Republic/Germany at the end of June to celebrate the 1475 marriage of Princess Jadwiga of Poland’s powerful Jagiellonian Dynasty to the young Duke George Wittelsbach of Landshut in Bavaria. The tour begins in Krakow and the group will follow the journey of the princess from Krakow to Prague to Landshut outside of Munich. Every 4 years the town of Landshut re-enacts the wedding and creates an entire festival with jousting, banquets, a wedding ceremony….and we are adding a Poprawiny to keep it Polish. I have 4 spaces open and wonder if there is anyone in your Polish community who might want to join the group. It is led by an artist in Pittsburgh who has a studio called Crakow Creche Workshop. I think you have one of the creches in your home. The travelers are the Kochinskis, Lupkowski, Kopielski, Zaluski…….you get the idea!! Most are over 55. They have a Polish guide Wlodek in Krakow and then will met Ute in Prague and she will take them into Germany. I have attached the flyer.
