Language courses are available for three week intensive summer programs at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin. “Studying Polish in Krakow changed my life,” said Kosciuszko Foundation President Alex Storozynski. “When I took part in the program as a graduate student, I fell in love with the homeland of my parents. Thanks to the Kosciuszko Foundation, I learned to speak Polish and became proud of my roots. Now, more college students in America will have this same opportunity.”
The scholarship covers: tuition, a shared room, three meals a day, course materials, various cultural events and sightseeing trips.
Eligible candidates are full-time undergraduate or graduate students, American citizens of Polish descent. To apply for a scholarship, please submit:
– completed KF Bridges to Poland application and financial information forms
– one official university transcript showing grades for the past three years through Summer 2012
– academic letters of reference from two professors
