On August 24, 2012 Waclaw Mucha was presented with The SILVER SNOOPY AWARD from the astronauts he worked with for years.
This is is a special honor awarded to individuals outstanding efforts that contribute to the success of human space flight missions.

On the award ceremony day he was also surprised with the phone call from Space Station from his students – astronauts who made a nice video for him with many warm words.
