‘My mother recently underwent breast cancer surgery. The cancer treatment went well and she is now cancer free. The outcome of the subsequent surgery to remove lymph nodes was devastating. It resulted in a fourth level lymphedema in the right hand. Her hand is swollen to the point where she is in constant pain and no longer is able to use it. We found a physician in Houston Medical Center, who is willing to perform restorative surgery.’
