In 2015, two of Ewa Thompson’s books came out: a Hungarian translation of her Imperial Knowledge: Russian Literature and Colonialism, translated by Lajos Palfalvi (Örökség Kultúrpolitikai Intézet), and third Chinese edition of her Understanding Russia: The Holy Fool in Russian Culture, translated by Yang De-you (Yillin Press).
Also in 2015, Thomspon received an award from Association of Polish Writers Abroad (Związek Pisarzy Polskich na Obczyźnie). The jury wrote the following: “Her erudition in the field of Slavic Studies, especially in Russian literature, brought about a number of books and essays and allowed her to explain and correct many myths and stereotypes about Polish culture and history that exist in American society.”
