Szymon Czerniak<\/strong> returns to his hometown of Houston with a piano recital featuring music of the great composers: Johann Sebastian Bach, Karol Szymanowski, Fredric Chopin, Franz Liszt, and Ludwig Van Beethoven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American-born Polish pianist, Szymon Czerniak<\/strong>, has been hailed for his \u201cbrilliant technique, extraordinary energy, and strength in interpretation (Kurier Szczecinski).\u201d Szymon is a recipient of the Cultural Arts Scholarship, awarded by the Kosciuszko Foundation for a special study in Poland, under the direction of Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. Currently, Szymon is completing his doctorate in Musical Arts at Shenandoah University and studying with renowned Irish pianist John O\u2019Conor. In addition to performing solo concerts throughout the United States and Europe, Szymon is also an avid collaborative artist – regularly accompanying chamber musicians and vocalists. Szymon is also a devoted jazz performer and appears regularly with his group, The Simon Aleksander Trio.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
